Mimosa is one of the most recognisable Damiani collections. Each piece is built from small clusters of diamonds that recall the round yellow blossoms of the mimosa tree, set by hand in Valenza so that every stone catches the light from a slightly different angle.

What makes Mimosa different
Most diamond jewellery is set in strict lines. Mimosa does the opposite. The stones are grouped in small bunches of different sizes and set at different heights, a technique Damiani describes as apparent chaos. Up close each cluster looks like a tiny flower, from a distance the piece reads as a soft spray of light.
Because the clusters can be large or small, the same idea works for a delicate everyday ring and for a full high jewellery necklace.
