From Apps To Agents

VERTU describes the Agent Q as a move from apps to agents. Instead of a grid of icons, the phone runs VAOS, the VERTU Agent Operating System. It is built to work the way a person thinks. It perceives voice, images, text and context, remembers your habits and preferences, breaks a goal into steps and then hands each step to the right agent.

Those agents live in the VERTU Productivity Suite. There are more than 200 of them across five areas of work, corporate governance, meetings, finance and investment, daily coordination, and marketing and growth. A single sentence such as “prepare the board report and arrange my return flight” sets several of them to work at once, one for documents, one for finance and one for travel.

Apps distract. Agent Q delivers.

Much of this happens on the phone itself. A dedicated on-device AI chipset runs the reasoning loop without a network connection, so replies come in milliseconds and private data does not have to leave the device. The phone connects to the cloud for knowledge, never for control.

Ruby Talk And The Human Concierge

Since 2002 VERTU phones have carried a ruby key that connects the owner to a human concierge. On the Agent Q it becomes Ruby Talk. One touch opens the AI agents, and when a request needs experience or real judgement, the 24/7 VERTU Concierge takes over. VERTU calls this human in the loop.

Behind it sits AIGS, AI Generated Service, a network where partners such as private banks, law firms and airlines connect their services directly to the phone.

Inspired By The White Falcon

The design takes its cue from the rare white falcon, a symbol of authority and rarity. The Falcon-Wing shape on the back also improves grip. Every Agent Q is assembled from more than 320 stainless steel components, the internals are plated with gold 10 microns thick, and the ceramic pillow is fired at 1,200 °C for a smooth, warm feel. The leather is wrapped in one seamless U-shaped piece.

Cameras Built Around A 35 mm Lens

The main camera has a 35 mm focal length, the classic reportage lens that is close to how the human eye sees a scene. It uses a 50 MP Sony IMX906 sensor with optical stabilisation and an aperture of f/1.59. Next to it sit a 64 MP telephoto camera at 70 mm and a 50 MP ultra-wide camera with a 122 degree field of view that also focuses as close as 2.5 cm. The front camera has 32 MP.

The AI tools are made for speaking rather than tapping. You can describe an edit out loud, ask the phone to find a moment among thousands of photos, or let it write a short poem or a piece of music for a picture.

Privacy In Hardware

Security is built in five layers. The A5 chip encrypts data in hardware and isolates it. Three separate systems, called Main, Secret and Ghost, keep different parts of your life apart. Each agent works inside its own sandbox, messages are encrypted end to end, and 10 TB of encrypted distributed storage holds important files.
