One Phone, One Craftsman
Every Signature V is made in England by a single craftsman, who assembles the whole phone and signs it. Each one holds more than 25 types of screws, every part made to exacting specifications. It is closer to how a watch is made than to how phones usually are.
Sapphire, Rubies And Gold
The screen is protected by sapphire crystal, 83 carats in total, grown for more than two weeks in a furnace at 2,000 °C. The keys rest on patented ruby bearings, 4.75 carats of solid ruby, which give the keypad its precise feel. Even the SIM drawer is solid gold.
The leather is chosen for grip as much as for looks. Calfskin comes in classic VERTU colours, and the more precious versions use alligator, lizard, pure silver with the Clous de Paris pattern or a ceramic keypad.
Signature V Or Signature S+?
Both are keypad phones in the same spirit. The Signature V focuses on craft and materials. The Signature S+ adds intelligence. Its AI personal assistant makes decisions and carries out tasks, the meeting assistant turns discussions into concise briefs, and voice commands and real-time translation work in daily use. It includes an offline AI language model and 10 TB of distributed storage, and Metaspace calls are encrypted end to end even without a SIM card.
The S+ comes with a polished white steel body or a black steel body, in calfskin or alligator skin, plus a black and gold version and a pure silver Clous de Paris edition.
